Over the past 40 years, the Fund for Educational Excellence has been a stabilizing force in Baltimore City, seeking systemic change for the benefit of every child in our public school system.

Today’s Fund has built and improved upon our strongest work from across the decades, while adapting and expanding to benefit Baltimore City Public School students across our city.

Developing recommendations and innovative solutions for pressing issues in Baltimore City Public Schools. Our work includes Reports, Chicago Parent Program, Pre-K Expansion and School Choice.

Securing and managing resources that expand opportunity for students through District Fundraising and Finance and Fiscal Sponsorship Services.

Recognizing, celebrating, and promoting excellence in Baltimore City Public Schools through the Heart of the Schools program.

On May 22nd, nearly 600 principals, educators, community leaders, and families joined us at the Hippodrome Theatre to honor this year’s Heart of the School Awards Top 10 Baltimore City Public School principals. Thank you to all who joined us. >> Watch it Here
