Supporting Children’s Literacy Development
The Baltimore Campaign for Grade Level Reading (GLR) works in partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools and other organizations that promote literacy to ensure all children are reading at grade level by the end of third grade. GLR facilitates family engagement by providing families with quality literacy resources that support children’s literacy development. All projects involve community feedback and input.

The work is driven by data which illustrates children demonstrating high literacy levels by the end of third grade are much more likely to succeed in school, graduate from high school, and pursue a college education. To learn more, click below.
